I have had it up to here with Stephanie Plum. It was funny the first couple times but DAMMIT WOMAN ORGANIZE YOUR PURSE AND STOP FUMBLING FOR YOUR PEPPER SPRAY AND LEARN TO HANDLE YOUR GUN or else find another job that's not a bounty hunter if you hate it so much and if you don't then PULL YOUR SHIT TOGETHER SO YOU CAN STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT HOW OFTEN YOU SCREW UP AND GET YOURSELF IN DANGER SO YOUR MANFRIENDS HAVE TO SAVE YOU. And yet they don't seem to get tired of her, because her constant grooming makes her pretty I suppose. Probably why she keeps hairspray in her purse that she keeps grabbing instead of her protective equipment. And some people call these books empowering.
OK, so this has been building up over several books.
